Who is the Healer?

When a patient recovers from a seemingly incurable condition, overcomes severe cancer, or restores their health after energetic balancing, the same question always arises: "Who healed me?" Is it the doctor, the medications, the herbal remedies, or the healer conducting the session?
As a healer and metaphysical practitioner, clarity on this answer is vital for both medical professionals and individuals seeking healing to understand their true role.
The Veil of Causes and the True Healer
In the divine order governing the universe (Sunnatullah), no result occurs without a cause. Just as an apple tree requires soil, water, and sunlight to bear fruit, the physical body requires medications, surgical interventions, herbal remedies, energetic network repairs, and positive thinking to regain health.
However, the greatest misconception is mistaking the cause for the creator of the result:
Medicine and Treatments: An antibiotic may destroy bacteria, or a medication may clear damaged cells; yet it is not the medicine itself that grants renewed life force to the cell or repairs the tissue, but Allah, the Creator of all causes (Musabbib al-Asbab).
Metaphysics and Healing: When I adjust a client’s biofield, work with energy maps, or unblock energetic channels in the body, I am simply fulfilling my duty as a cause according to divine laws. I strive to execute this responsibility to the best of my ability, yet I do not bestow healing myself—I am merely an instrument, never the source.
The Ultimate Healer: The true healer is Allah alone. Medications, medical doctors, myself, and my metaphysical healing means I utilize are merely veils opening to the manifestation of His divine healing attribute (Ash-Shafi).
Seeking A Cure
In Islamic literature and ancient wisdom, seeking medical treatment, consulting a physician, or pursuing energetic balance is far from passive resignation. While spoken supplication requests healing through words, actively seeking a cure is an embodied prayer —a petition expressed directly through action.
When you seek the most effective treatment for an illness, you are requesting healing from Almighty Allah through your actions and bodily intentions. A surgeon performing an operation or a healer repairing disrupted energy lines is simply knocking on the door. The One who opens the door and creates healing is Allah, the possessor of absolute power.
For this reason, if a healer claims, "I healed you" or "I cured cancer," it stems from great ignorance. A healer is merely a facilitator searching for the right key to unlock the door; the One who unlocks it and bestows the healing behind it is Allah.
True Reliance and the Healer's Proper Stance
A good healer and a conscious patient must maintain this vital balance:
Utilizing Means (Effort): Applying both modern medical opportunities and metaphysical/energetic means with utmost seriousness and dedication.
Awaiting Results from Allah (Trust): Recognizing that healing originates neither from the doctor, nor from the medicine, nor from the healer's hands, but that these are merely distributors of divine mercy.
This is the shared path that modern medicine and metaphysical methods must walk hand-in-hand. We are responsible for applying effort; the One who determines the outcome and creates healing is Allah alone.
