Requirements for the Healer to Preserve Themselves
The concept of "healer" (Şifacı) is of 2 types. The first is the worldly healer, the second is the spiritual healer. The worldly healer is the healer who has received medical education or other healing training. Those who acquire the metaphysical possibilities within themselves in a way that anyone can acquire are also worldly healers. As for the spiritual healer, it is the healer whose healing abilities within themselves are gifted directly, without intermediaries, by Allah (God).
The addressee of this article is not worldly healers, but spiritual healers. Worldly healers do not lose their healing abilities; they can only come to use them badly. Spiritual healers, on the other hand, can lose their healing abilities through the mistakes they make.
There are 7 principles for the spiritual healer to preserve themselves:
They must feel in every cell that healing comes only from Allah.
They must evaluate the compliments of the person who attains healing as if they were slander. Compliments should not find a place in your heart.
They must not think that they are the sole instrument of healing.
If the person requesting healing is someone considered cruel by the majority or if their profession is cruelty (such as a sorcerer), they must not attend to this person, must not help them.
If the person requesting healing looks down on the healer and expresses this through their words and facial expressions, they must not attend to this person.
If the person requesting healing is not in the mindset of paying a price, they must not attend to this person.
The healer must frequently check their devotion to Allah and must love Allah very much.
