What Is BeFaster Lite ?

BeFaster is an award-winning and multifeatured connection optimization tool. It not only optimizes your connection but also prevents connection drops and awakes suspended modems.
BeFaster Lite is light version of BeFaster. BeFaster Lite does not have Records function and Advanced Users tab but BeFaster does have.

Which OS Does It Support ?

It supports Windows operating systems : Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista.
It cannot be used with Windows 3.x, Linux, OS/2, BeOS or Macintosh computers.

How Much Speed Can We Gain With BeFaster Lite ?

It will be a lie to answer this question with a standard number. BeFaster Lite makes your current connection more efficient. It does not make your 56k dial-up modem connection to 100k. If you have 56k connection, it provides you to use it with the best performance. Microsoft publishes Windows operating systems with default settings (the most compatible settings with all systems). But you cannot get the best performance with this default values. At that moment, you need BeFaster Lite to change some settings of Windows. If you have a slow-speed connection, it is difficult to understand the change after BeFaster Lite but it is still possible. If you have a fast connection, you will feel the difference after you use BeFaster Lite. Therefore in all cases, BeFaster Lite supports all popular connection types.

 Does BeFaster Lite Have Multi-Language Support ?

Yes, BeFaster Lite has built-in multi-language support. While you install BeFaster Lite, setup program asks you to choose a setup language. BeFaster Lite's interface language will be the same language that you choose at setup.

What Are The Other Features Of BeFaster Lite ?

BeFaster Lite has 2 powerful tools, too.
Super-Ping tool : It prevents connection drops (disconnections). It uses a special ping technique and sends/receives data in determined time intervals to prevent connection drops.
Ping Now function : It awakes your suspended modem up and makes your connection live. For example; think that you're surfing on the net and your browser is saying "loading page..." but when you look your modem, you see that there's not any activity on modem lights. At that time, just use Ping Now function to awake your modem and speed up your surfing...

You may use LiveUpdate menu item in the program to check for new version, you can download new version if there is.

How Can We Optimize Connection via BeFaster Lite ?

Standard users; select your connection type and click Optimize Settings button. Then BeFaster Lite will ask you to restart Windows to complete optimization. Therefore your connection will be optimized. If you select the correct connection type, you don't need to optimize your connection each time you connect to internet. Advanced users can try BeFaster, instead of BeFaster Lite.
You can return to default settings by using Windows Default option. BeFaster Lite is a software to improve your connection. Before you use a software, you must have a good service provider, hardware (e.g: modem) and clear lines. BeFaster Lite cannot make your hardware better.

Is BeFaster  Lite Free Program (freeware) ?

This program is Shareware. You can download trial version of BeFaster Lite at http://www.ekremdeniz.com address. The trial version is 15 days trial.
