BeFaster is a popular software.
It really does what it says. We tried to do the best we can
do time by time. We continue to improve BeFaster. But is is
shareware and it costs 16 (euro) for personal use. Therefore some
people asked me about a version for students. The reason of
this question is price of the software.
One of computer magazine described
BeFaster as "the best one but the most expensive one" BeFaster
Lite has born because of this. BeFaster Lite is especially designed
for users who cannot pay $23 for BeFaster. (But now BeFaster
is 16 euro, in past it was $23.)
We began to publish BeFaster Lite
with version number 1.0 although the version of BeFaster program
is 3.0 at that time. We got ready to support multi-language
interface with BeFaster Lite. BeFaster v3.0 does not have multi-language
interface support although BeFaster Lite 1.0 has that support.
Because we want to test multi-language interface support with
BeFaster Lite firstly. Therefore we have find some bugs, problems.
So BeFaster v3.1 will include multi-language support with no
problem and BeFaster Lite v1.1 will not include any problem.
The second reason of light version;
we have removed advanced users tabs, therefore end-user can
only use a fixed setting and he cannot use custom settings.
Most of the people did not like this. Yes, I know but we tried
to include all popular connection settings. BeFaster Lite does
what BeFaster does except customization and recording settings.
We plan to add new fixed settings
to BeFaster Lite and BeFaster in near future. Therefore if you
are a novice user, you will not need to use BeFaster and you
will not pay much. But if you want to have power at best, we
always recommend BeFaster although it is expensive than light
version.
As a result; BeFaster Lite is
light version of award-winning optimization tool, BeFaster.
